Wilson Yik specializes in building sustainability through research, teaching and practicing for over 15 years. As Associate (Sustainability) of L&O, he oversees the sustainable design integration of the practice at both project and corporate levels through devising sustainability agendas, formulation of strategic plans and frameworks, capacity building on design and innovation, as well as providing necessary technical supports for the design and implementation of both environmentally sensitive and socially inclusive architectural solutions. He also teaches environmental control in HKU SPACE.

His experience spans from master planning to interior renovation for a wide range of projects, most if not all with pushing the front of sustainability in mind. Projects he has taken an active role includes the pioneering Sustainability Master Planning for Hong Kong Science Park Phase 3 and the completed Dormitory Extension for United Christian College (Kowloon East) which is an award-winning project in view of the comprehensive efforts on exploiting passive environmental designs in achieving a low carbon campus.
